GrizzlyRock Capital bolsters management team with new hires

Chris Ricciardi has been appointed managing partner and head of business development at GrizzlyRock Capital, an alternative asset management firm that focuses on the credit and equity markets, and Doug Laux has been appointed chief financial officer.

According to Saidal Mohmand, the company's vice president of investment research, Ricciardi and Laux will collaborate with Kyle Mowery, who established GrizzlyRock in 2012.



Ricciardi was responsible for distributing private and public investment solutions to professional investors, wealth managers, banks, and financial services platforms at Altegris Investments before joining GrizzlyRock as director of strategic relationships. Furthermore, he was also a co-founder of Herron Capital Management.

Laux worked for Ernst & Young in Chicago for 20 years, where he was a partner for nine years. Prior to this, he also held the position of chief financial officer for a number of businesses, including Alamo and National Car Rental Market holding company, ANC Rental.

Laux has a lot of experience with mergers and acquisitions, balance sheet and operational restructuring, initial public offerings, bankruptcy, and private and public companies.
